MusiCure - sensory stimulation for health
MusiCure 'Music as medicine' - de-stressing experiences with evidence music and films with nature

The original specially composed MusiCure music and the film productions with nature atmospheres, are all created especially for the entire healthcare sector by composer Niels Eje and producer Inge Mulvad Eje. More than 20 years of creative development, based on scientific research is the foundation for the creation of MusiCure - research that today is published in international medical journals.

The scientific documentation and numerous studies with hospital patients, began in 1998 at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital). The internationally published articles, describing the impact of MusiCure, are written on the independent reserachers own initiative. Today, more than 20 scientific articles have been published in several journals, listed under RESEARCH here on this site.

Composer Niels Eje and producer Inge Mulvad Eje, who has created MusiCure, have not had any influence on the results of the completed studies, but simply delivered the specially composed content in the programs used for the patients. The MusiCure repertoire also includes specially produced films with nature, which have been carefully edited to the music, and the entire repertoire of music and films is available on our own digital streaming platform ‘MusiCureStream’. The MusiCure films follow the same basic principles as the music, and convey soothing and de-stressing total experiences, without speech or disturbing text.

MUSICURE PILLOW

The MusiCure compositions consist of instrumental soundscapes, performed on acoustic instruments by highly trained classical soloists, as well as unique recordings of natural sounds, which are carefully selected and integrated into the music. In general, the compositions are 'universal' and 'genre-less' musical expressions, which are aimed at anyone seeking evidence-based stimulation to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. The MusiCure Pillow, with built-in speakers and high-quality sound, is CE marked according to current EU directives and registered as a medical device in class 1
